Public health has become one of the most determinable sources of income for pharmaceutical industries coming from around the globe. It could be understood that the platform of healthcare has been successfully used to by the said industries through influencing the thinking of the market especially when it comes to identifying their role in protecting the health status of the public. Sociology of Health and Healing It could be observed that through the emergence of modern idealisms with regards health issues that are affecting the community at present, the healthcare industries impose new beliefs that often brings the society into questioning whether or not the public are actually healthy. Utilizing the power of media, pharmaceutical industries often create a notion among the people specifically pointing out that they need the products released by the said organizations.
Mental conditioning through marketing campaigns has led different organizations towards a definite course of profit earning culture. Through determining the possible worries of the society and increasing the interest they have in gaining better health, the healthcare industries have been able to take on a new sense of determinable course of advancement as they create new products to mandate new and extensive forms of healthcare functionalities. Notably, these directives allow the public to establish their interest to the products and services released by the industry. The public, being new to the concepts introduced to them by the said industries become highly concerned on how they are to accept what the industry offers accordingly, thus hoping to develop their personal health status.
