I have been using various strategies to prepare for my certification. I developed a study schedule that has enabled me to keep on track and ensure that I have adequate time to cover all the required topics. I have also been preparing in advance for the certification examination by studying at the library four times a week and I have ensured that the sections identified from the Fitzgerald exam are tackled and understood adequately. This strategy has ensured that I have acquired the required information and knowledge appropriately without cramming in order to convert the knowledge and information into the long-term memory.

In addition, I have been using board vitals and the ANCC prep book to study for the certification examination. The board vitals along with the ANCC prep book have enabled me to gain additional insights and knowledge on the certification as well as to be familiar with the examination blueprint.
