Cerebellum Damage And Effects On Music

This is the part of the brain responsible for the reception of information from the sensory systems which

Include the spinal cord .This part of the brain also regulates the motor movements .It coordinates voluntary movements for instance balance ,speech ,coordination and posture .This part contains half of the brains neurons .Any damage on  this part may lead to inability to control rapid movements, weak muscles ,tendency to fall down and slurred speech (Strata, 2015) Major Parts Of The Brain Essay.

Effect On Music

Since my activity of choice is music which entails dancing and flow of songs, damage on the cerebellum will affect music in the following ways .First, I will not be able to dance because of the impaired movement, weak muscles and uncoordinated movements .Also, the slurred speech may affect the flow of my songs because of the affected flow of speech.

Hypothalamus damage and effect on music.

Hypothalamus is the part of the brain responsible for coordination of the nervous system to the endocrine system. It is responsible for behaviors and emotions of the human beings, fatigue, hunger and cardiac rhythms (Ashwell, 2012).

In this paper one will learn the different parts of the brain and their functions. Although the brain isn’t the largest organ of the human body it is the most complex and controlling organ. It is amazing how complicated the brain is. The brain controls every action within and out of your body. The brain has main areas that contain different areas that have specific functions. The limbic system controls your behavior and emotions. It is involved in emotions such as fear, rage, pleasure, and sorrow. In the prefrontal area of the frontal lobe emotional traits are controlled. In the temporal lobe expressed behavior is controlled. The parietal lobe discriminates sensory. The occipital lobe is where visual interpretation takes place. Pons is a crossroad for nerves going up to the cortex, to the cerebellum and then down the spinal cord. The cortex is the outer gray area where thinking takes place. The olfactory cortex receives senses from the nose that it then sorts out. The area that identifies what we see by working out movements, colors, and shapes is the visual cortex. The area that receives taste senses is called gustatory cortex. The area responsible for analyzing data, performing memory functions, learning new information, forming thoughts, and making decisions is the cerebral cortex. Major Parts Of The Brain Essay. The motor cortex is involved in muscle movement. The cerebellum is vital when carrying out complicated, skilled movements. It is much like a mini brain.
If before you read this paper you thought the brain was a “one man machine” I’m sure your opinion has changed after reading his paper. It is amazing how god has created the brain to have so many areas
The temporal lobe has numerous functions. A few would include auditory, ventral visual stream, processing of auditory input, visual object recognition and categorization, and long-term storage of sensory input. Inside the temporal lobe is the amygdale, which adds affective or emotional tone to sensory input and memories. There is also hippocampus, which are cells code places in space and allow us to navigate space and remember where we are. In the temporal lobe, the left side is usually the dominant side, which essentially involves the verbal memory. The left side has different functions including perception of words, long-term memory, and complex memories. The non-dominant side is usually the right side, which involves the visual memory. This includes functions like rhythm, social cues and visual learning. Important aspects if your career involves music or even if you have to give a presentation to a class about
